Location

Goðafoss (“Waterfall of the Gods”) is located in northeastern Iceland, along the Skjálfandafljót River, one of the country’s longest glacier-fed rivers.

The Godafoss waterfall lies on Iceland’s famous Ring Road (Route 1) between Akureyri and Lake Myvatn, and being situated just off the highway, is one of Iceland’s most accessible waterfalls.
